Reviewer
Reviewers of Al-Manshubāt: Journal of Integrated Islamic Scholarship are selected based on their academic qualifications, research expertise, publication record, and relevance to the subject matter of the submitted manuscript. Reviewers play a significant role in maintaining the scholarly quality, originality, methodological soundness, and academic contribution of articles published in the journal.
Each reviewer is expected to provide an objective, critical, constructive, and ethically responsible evaluation. The review process must be conducted confidentially and impartially. Reviewers are required to assess manuscripts based on the clarity of the research problem, relevance of the theoretical framework, appropriateness of methodology, accuracy of analysis, coherence of discussion, originality of findings or arguments, quality of references, and contribution to the development of knowledge.
Reviewers are also expected to identify possible issues related to plagiarism, duplicate publication, unethical citation practices, data fabrication, data falsification, inappropriate authorship, or conflicts of interest. If a reviewer feels unqualified to evaluate a manuscript or has a conflict of interest, the reviewer should inform the editorial board and withdraw from the review process.
The recommendations provided by reviewers serve as an important consideration for editorial decision-making. However, the final decision regarding manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection remains the responsibility of the editorial board.
