Publication Ethics
Al-Manshubāt: Journal of Integrated Islamic Scholarship is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics, academic integrity, and responsible scholarly communication. The journal requires all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers, to adhere to ethical principles in order to ensure the credibility, originality, and reliability of published works.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts are original, accurate, and free from plagiarism. Manuscripts must not have been previously published and must not be under consideration by another journal. Authors must present data, arguments, and findings honestly and must provide proper acknowledgment of all sources used in the manuscript. Any form of plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, ghost authorship, guest authorship, or unethical authorship practice is strictly prohibited.
Editors are responsible for evaluating manuscripts fairly, objectively, and confidentially. Editorial decisions must be based solely on the academic quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and contribution of the manuscript to the journal’s focus and scope. Editors must not use unpublished materials for personal advantage and must avoid any conflict of interest.
Reviewers are expected to conduct manuscript evaluations objectively, confidentially, and constructively. Reviewers must provide scholarly comments that assist authors in improving the quality of their manuscripts. Reviewers must also declare any conflict of interest and must not use information obtained through the review process for personal or professional gain.
The journal reserves the right to reject manuscripts, request corrections, publish corrections, issue retractions, or take other necessary editorial actions when ethical violations are identified before or after publication.
